Biomethane and food processing

Biomethane production systems can be run with sugar derived from beetroot byproducts , fueled with sugar beets byproducts. 70% of Italian sugar consumption comes from imported production due to prohibitive processing costs associated wih the incredible amount of beetroots needed (approximately 1.5 million tons per year).
Such structure economically enhances the free surface flow while reducing O&M expenditures. It has minimal environmental impact, it is completely self-sustaining, thus increasing local economic opportunities through diversifying agricultural production and modernization of farming methods. Low-cost clean energy production creates both new green job opportunities as well as supplemental agricultural business income.

Biomethane production is foregoing a staggering growth throughout Europe, during 2020, Italy has recorded the highest number with 27 new structures. On a European level, there was an increase of 92%. Each single plant has the ability to capture 8,000 tons of CO2 annually.
