HBA's unconventional projects implement Circular economy through biomethane plants, a sustainable energy source.

Food
Processing

Indispensable agricultural byproducts are acquired by food processing.
There is no soil depletion thanks to food waste reprocessing.
EU directives incentivize biomethane plants development. However, national legislations limit the use to agricultural and zootechnical byproducts, which is in short supply within the Italian territory.
Developing numerous biomass conversion plants for fruit and vegetable juices, sauces and pulps; essential oils and active ingredients extraction; beetroot processing; olive-presses; breweries;
Mills; cheese factories and slaughterhouses guarantees an uninterrupted flow from the matrix to the digesters.

Environmental Footprint
Innovative approach allows for the preservation of ecosystem biodiversity and the safeguard of core ecological processes. Furthermore, it significantly reduces waste production as well as food byproducts within the biomethane plants.

Social Equality
Building food processing plants requires between 25 and 45 units of workforce, as per project planning. As a result, there is an increase of employment as well of standard of life. Stakeholders partnership within local communities ensures involvement of political, social and agricultural local communities.

Economic Impact
The project is grounded in a precise economic analysis aimed at environmental protection, improvement of standard of life through the implementation of sustainable solutions, guaranteeing an increment of agricultural revenues, GDP as well as local taxes. The food processing modules enhance the Greenteam project by firmly stabilizing local agricultural economy as well as generating extensive interest from potential investors.
